Travel to destinations where martial arts originated and are still practiced for a number of reasons: as self-defense, military and law enforcement applications, mental and spiritual development; as well as entertainment and the preservation of a nation’s intangible cultural heritage.Shaolin Kung Fu, one of the most well-known Chinese Kung Fu in the world, is also a precious quintessence of Chinese culture. This Shaolin Kung Fu Experience Tour is especially designed for Shaolin Kung Fu fans. During this four day Kung Fu tour, visit the sacred Shaolin Temple, a dream place where you can get a first hand experience of the Kung Fu skill practice and discover further profound meaning of this martial art. Besides, you will also practice Kung Fu skill from a professional teacher.

Dengfeng is located at the foot of the Mount Song, one of the most sacred mountains in China. The city is one of the most renowned spiritual centres of China, home to various religious institutions and temples, such as the Taoist Zhongyue Temple, the Buddhist Shaolin Temple, as well as the Confucian Songyang Academy.
Visit the Shaolin Temple and the Pagoda Forest
Founded in AD496 during the Northern Wei Dynasty, the Shaolin Temple or Shaolin Monastery was built in honor of an Indian monk known to the Chinese as Da Mo, founder of the Mahayana sect of Buddhism, more commonly called Chinese Zen Buddhism. This temple is thus regarded as the birthplace of Chinese Buddhism. The temple, which bore witness to the rise and fall of several dynasties, is also famous for its rich history of martial arts. Shaolin Kung Fu is the synthesis of several martial art principles, and requires immense physical and mental strength. The Pagoda Forest refers to a number of stone or brick pagodas built between the 8th and the 19th centuries AD. Both the Shaolin Monastery and the Pagoda Forest were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010

Start learning basic Kung Fu skills at a local Martial Arts school in Dengfeng (approx. 2 – 3 hours)
What better place to hone your Kung Fu skills than in the birthplace of one of its one of the oldest, largest, and most famous styles – Shaolin Kung Fu? Be guided by a dedicated and passionate master through the proper forms and techniques of this ancient Chinese martial art.

Continue your Kung Fu training in the afternoon (approx. 2 – 3 hours)
Transfer to the Shaolin Zen Music Ritual evening show (Approx. 75minutes)
The Shaolin Zen Music Ritual is an outdoor musical extravaganza featuring music, dance, light, technology, and Shaolin kung fu. Majestic hills serve as a backdrop to this unique live-action performance set in a vast 5-square-kilometer outdoor stage. The show is performed by about 600 musicians, dancers, local villagers and Kung Fu monks. Comprised of five movements – water, wood, light wind and stone respectively – weaving together a story of Buddhism and martial arts.
After the show, transfer back to your hotel in Dengfeng

International hotel check in time is between 2pm and 3pm and check out time is between 11am and 12pm. (Exceptions apply). Early check in and or late check-out is subject to availability of rooms and may be chargeable.
It is the responsibility of the passengers to ensure they hold valid passport, visa, travel and medical insurance, vaccination etc., as applicable for each destination.
City/tourist tax as applicable, must be paid directly at the hotel.
To assist with visa application process, ITL World would provide copies of air tickets, travel insurance and other ground service vouchers for bookings made and fully paid for. Approval and issuance of visa is at the discretion of respective Embassies or Consulates and ITL World cannot in anyway influence this process. Certain nationals however receive visa on arrival in select countries, subject to prior online approvals
