The land of fire and ice – Iceland
Self-drive SUV expedition to Iceland
Iceland, a sparsely populated island with the North Atlantic all around it and magma bubbling through its crust, is a wild and remote place. That hasn’t stopped tourists flocking to pint-sized Reykjavik.
Reykjavik, on the coast of Iceland, is the country’s capital and largest city. The striking concrete Hallgrimskirkja church and rotating Perlan glass dome offer sweeping views of the sea and nearby hills.
Seljalandsfoss, one of the best known waterfalls in Iceland. The waterfall is one of the most popular waterfalls and natural wonders in Iceland. If you are lucky, you will experience crisp air in your lungs and unbridled beauty dancing overhead by the view of Northern Lights.
During this tour, you will experience driving a 4×4 SUV through snow, rivers and off road terrain drives. The views there are magnificent over the south coast of Iceland as well as to the great volcanoes surrounding the area. There are many exciting challenges where you require good driving skills to get to the certain valleys.
