    JOURNEY TO THE OASIS

    There are a several must-see desert destinations that are made all the more appealing by their endlessly warm and typical sunny weather. A desert vacation can provide wild adventures, luxury hideaways and jaw dropping scenery. While deserts often evoke an image of arid and inhospitable landscapes, they also hold an undeniably special place in our imaginations. The combination of solitude, silence, shifting sands and surreal shapes has given deserts a mysterious charm that beckons travelers like a mirage to head out and explore these vast and stunning expanses of our planet.

    Morocco has a well-deserved reputation as North Africa’s most exotic country. It’s beautiful southeast region, towards the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert is the world’s largest hot desert. See this beautiful country in a 4 x 4 vehicle – a great way to view the majestic and famous Atlas Mountains spanning Morocco with its snow-capped peaks, lush valleys and its unbelievable landscapes. Spend a night in the Sahara under a nomadic tent. Visit the Kasbahs of Telouet and Ait Benhaddou, now a protected Unesco monument.

  • Day 1

    MARRAKESH
    Welcome at Menara airport by ATLAS VOYAGES staff. Brief review of the tour during your transfer to the hotel. Check-in, dinner and accommodation

    Day 2

    MARRAKESH
    After breakfast explore Majorelle Garden with its French-influenced architecture and the intriguing history due to the connection with the iconic French designer Yves Saint Laurent, and visit of his famous Museum that exhibit his work of art.
    Afternoon visit of Menara Gardens, and tour on the Palmeraie Area.
    Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

    Day 3

    MARRAKESH
    Visit of historical Marrakesh famous by its beautiful palaces and monuments: the Bahia Palace, and the Koutoubia Minaret. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon visit of the famous Djemaa El Fna square with its surrounding souks and handicraft quarters. Accommodation at the hotel.

    Day 4

    MARRAKESH/ KASBAH TELOUET / KASBAH AIT BENHADOU OUARZAZATE (220 km)
    Early departure by 4WD to Ouarzazate by the main road through the high Atlas with a parade of varied and enchanting landscapes. Stop at Tich’n’Tichka pass at an altitude of 2260 m, and then visit Telouet Kasbah, former residence of the Glaoui family, one of the most influential of this region. Continue to the Famous Kasbah Ait Benhadou which has served as setting for many famous movies (Ex. Gladiator). The Kasbah is now a UNESCO protected monument. Visit of Ouarzazate film Studio, the 1st and th largest Film Studio in the Maghreb where have been made masterpieces such as “Lawrence of Arabia” , “the last Temptation of Christ” &” Kingdom of Heaven”.
    Upon arriving time in Ouarzazate visit of Taourist Kasbat .
    Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

    Day 5

    OUARZAZATE / TINEGHIR /ERFOUD/ MERZOUGA (400 km)
    After breakfast, take the road of the thousand Kasbahs to Kelaat M’gouna in Tinghir province, famous as “The capital of Roses” and by its yearly Roses festival.
    Stop at the Valley of Roses. On the way, visit of Dadès gorges passing by the beautiful Amerhidil Kasbah. Visit of Tinghir where the magnificent Todgha gorges emerge; the 250 meters of altitude makes them perfect for hiking adventurers. Continue to Merzouga. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel.

    Day 6

    MERZOUGA /ALNIF / ZAGORA (310 km)
    Early morning, a short walk to see the sunrise over the sand-dunes of Merzouga. Back to the Auberge for breakfast and departure to Zagora, via the village of Rissani, birthplace of the present Alaouites Dynasty. Continue to Alnif, a small Berber village and then continue to Zagora via Tazzarine and Taghbalt. On the way, splendid sceneries of pre-saharian desert dotted with Berber villages.
    Excursion to Tamegroute, visit of the famous library containing an impressive collection of old Manuscripts and documents dating from the 12th century. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

    Day 7

    ZAGORA / OUARZAZATE / MARRAKESH (360 km)
    After Breakfast, we head to MARRAKESH, from Agdz, we head forward on the track road leading through numerous villages and palm groves along the Drâa river before reaching Ouarzazate. Continue via the Tizin ’tichka pass, to Marrakesh.
    Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

    Day 8

    MARRAKESH / DEPARTURE
    Transfer to the airport of Marrakesh, assistance with departure formalities.

    ITL World reserve the right to amend the prices in case of currency fluctuations, changes in rates of exchange, and/or fuel costs, special or high season charges and hike in the airline/hotel/rail/land transportation charges before the date of departure.

    For convenience of passengers and / or feasibility of operations, ITL World or their service providers may sometimes amend the itinerary.

    International hotel check in time is between 2pm and 3pm and check out time is between 11am and 12pm. (Exceptions apply). Early check in and or late check-out is subject to availability of rooms and may be chargeable.

    It is the responsibility of the passengers to ensure they hold valid passport, visa, travel and medical insurance, vaccination etc., as applicable for each destination.

    City/tourist tax/tourism as applicable, must be paid directly at the hotel.

    To assist with visa application process, ITL World would provide copies of air tickets, travel insurance and other ground service vouchers for bookings made and fully paid for. Approval and issuance of visa is at the discretion of respective Embassies or Consulates and ITL World cannot in anyway influence this process. Certain nationals however receive visa on arrival in select countries, subject to prior online approvals.
