    Awaken To A Different World

    Cloaked by mist and surrounded by lush vegetation and steep plateau slope, the sprawling Inca citadel of Machu Picchu is set high in the Andes Mountains in Peru, above the Urubamba River valley. Built in the 15th century and later abandoned, it’s renowned for its sophisticated dry-stone walls that fuse huge blocks without the use of mortar, intriguing buildings that play on astronomical alignments and panoramic views.

    CITY TOUR WITH PERUVIAN PASO HORSE SHOW / TYPICAL LUNCH AT LOS FICUS
    You will visit the modern and colonial part of the city of Lima, known as The City of Kings, starting with the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro before heading to the Historic Center. Once there, you will visit the Main Square, where you can take pictures of the amazing colonial architecture that surrounds it. Then, walk to the Chocolate Museum to have an exquisite experience with Peruvian cocoa. Afterwards, you will visit the impressive Convent of Santo Domingo, before heading back. You will pass through Huaca Huallamarca before reaching Miraflores, where you will get off at Love Park to take stunning photos of the landscape of the Lima coast.
    Then you will visit the Los Ficus Hacienda to take a look at the special world of the Peruvian Paso Horse. You will tour the Hacienda and learn more about this beautiful Peruvian tradition. You can admire the majestic horses, as well as our chalanes’ typical clothing. You will also see the herding process and live a day in contact with nature. At lunchtime you will enjoy the flavors of Peru in a show prepared specially for you.

    Day 3

    Lima, Cusco

    At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport to board the departure flight.

    Upon arrival, assistance and transfer to the hotel.
    HD CITY TOUR OF CUSCO & ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES NEAR CUSCO
    You will visit the city of Cusco, also known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will start your tour at the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and cult center of the Sun God, above which the order of the Dominicans built a church, which remains standing to this day. Then, you will visit the Plaza de Armas, where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city. Continue ascending to the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an impressive example of Inca military architecture. Afterwards, you will visit Kenko, an archaeological site where the Sun, Moon and Stars were celebrated. Continue with a visit to Puca-Pucara, place that would have served as “tambo” or resting place and lodging of the Inca. Finally, you will visit the art workshop Inka’s Expression, where you will appreciate a sample of the various uses of Peruvian natural products (plants, fruits, vegetables, among others) and will know their nutritional, healing and cosmetic properties.

    Day 4

    Cusco, Valle Sagrado

    FD VISIT TO THE TOWNS AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL CENTERS OF PISAC AND OLLANTAYTAMBO
    You will move towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, towards the town of Pisac. Before arriving, you will visit Awanakancha, a craft shop, where you can also observe local fauna. A stop at the Taray viewpoint will give you an unbeatable view of the area. Once in Pisac, you will visit its colorful market, which will captivate you with its original Andean essence. Afterwards, you will head to a typical restaurant to enjoy lunch. Continue to Ollantaytambo, military, religious and agricultural center of the Incas, located on top of a mountain. From there you can appreciate the narrow streets of the town that bears the same name, as well as its canals, which have not changed since the Inca Empire. Finally, you can tour the beautiful town to get wrapped up in the unique Andean energy. Enjoy lunch at a typical Hacienda in Cusco.

    Day 5

    Valle Sagrado, Cusco
    Buffet breakfast.
    At the scheduled time, you will be transferred from your Sacred Valley hotel to the Ollantaytambo station.
    MACHU PICCHU BY VISTADOME TRAIN (WITH LOCAL GUIDE)
    A visit to one of the most important tourist destinations in the world: Machu Picchu. The excursion starts with a train trip to the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. The natural beauty of the surroundings makes the train the best way to start your visit. When you arrive, you will start the ascent to the ruins, which will without a doubt be one of your most unforgettable experiences. At Machu Picchu you can see one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World and take some impressive photos. Then it is back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch in a local restaurant. Finally, you board the train for the return journey and transfer to your hotel.

    Cusco

    *Prices mentioned is starting from, per person based on 2 persons travelling together and sharing twin/double room, subject to seasonal surcharges and availability.

    ITL World reserve the right to amend the prices in case of currency fluctuations, changes in rates of exchange, and/or fuel costs, special or high season charges and hike in the airline/hotel/rail/land transportation charges before the date of departure.

    For convenience of passengers and / or feasibility of operations, ITL World or their service providers may sometimes amend the itinerary.

    International hotel check in time is between 2pm and 3pm and check out time is between 11am and 12pm. (Exceptions apply). Early check in and or late check-out is subject to availability of rooms and may be chargeable.

    It is the responsibility of the passengers to ensure they hold valid passport, visa, travel and medical insurance, vaccination etc., as applicable for each destination.

    City/tourist tax as applicable, must be paid directly at the hotel.

    To assist with visa application process, ITL World would provide copies of air tickets, travel insurance and other ground service vouchers for bookings made and fully paid for. Approval and issuance of visa is at the discretion of respective Embassies or Consulates and ITL World cannot in anyway influence this process.
