The magical meeting place of East and West
Get rejuvenated with one of our short break holiday package to Istanbul this winter. Even if you only have a weekend to spare, you can feel refreshed and invigorated with a fantastic holiday getaway to Turkey.
Istanbul, this magical meeting place of East and West, adapts the definition of a great city, not only with her population and the area she covers but also with the variety of cultures and ways of living. It is superbly situated either side of the blue ribbon of the Bosphorus Strait separating Europe from Asia. With its oriental-fantasy skyline of domes and minarets, and its narrow cobbled streets lined with quaint old wooden houses, lies on a tapering peninsula pointing gravely across the straits to Asia.
The city offers many attraction places to visit, like The Blue Mosque – a world-renowned monument famed for its dazzling domes, the Hagia Sofia – a mosque whose incredible confection of domes, towers and golden mosaics has inspired architecture around the world, Ottoman palaces, Bosphorus bridge, citadels and cruising on a boat to view the European and Asian shorelines at the same time.
