    Goa is a state in western India with coastlines stretching along the Arabian Sea. Its long history as a Portuguese colony prior to 1961 is evident in its preserved 17th-century churches and the areas tropical spice plantations. Goa is also known for its beaches, ranging from popular stretches at Baga and Palolem to those in laid-back fishing villages such as Agonda.

  • Day 1

    ARRIVE GOA
    Goa is sun, surf and memories. Upon arrival you will be met and transfered to your hotel. Once checked-in, spend the day at leisure.

    Day 2

    After breakfast proceed for a full day tour of Old Goa which includes temple, spice plantation and Panjim City. Proceed to Old Goa where you will visit Basilica of Bom Jesus Church and Se Cathedral. The Basilica was constructed in 1605 and is world famous for housing the tomb and mortal remains of St Francis Xavier who is considered by Catholics as one of the patron saints of Goa. The body of the saint is still intact even after more than 400 years, surprising for many scientists. It is taken out and kept for public display once in every decade. 2014 was the year when the body was last removed and displayed. The basilica is constructed in Portuguese style. Proceed to Shantadurga temple. Proper attire has to be worn to visit the temple. After the temple visit, proceed to the spice farm. The splendour of nature goes well with ancient traditions. At the spice plantation, they strive to maintain traditions in harmony with nature. Welcome of the guests is done in a traditional way by offering Aarti, Kumkum and a garland of flowers. Then the guests are then served a refreshing herbal tea, healthy and nutritious food served in a traditional manner on a banana leaf. Leave for Panjim city after lunch at spice plantation.

    Day 4

    After breakfast, drive to Reis Magos fort where sightseeing of the fort will take about half an hour. Then proceed to the grand fort of Aguada which was constructed in 1612 in order to prevent the entry of ships into river Mandovi thus protecting old Goa from enemy attacks.
    Located at a distance of around 22 km from Bardez, Fort Aguada boasts of the first ever light house in Asia. Visit the beaches of Candolim, Calangute and Baga Beach. The Calangute Beach,
    located around 17 km from Bardez, is famous for being the first beach to inculcate the hippie culture in the 60s and 70s. The hippies were edged out slowly as the mainstream tourists started to flock Goa in search of peace and enjoyments sun, sand and sea. Drive back to the hotel.

    Price is starting from per person sharing twin/double room on sharing basis, subject to seasonal surcharges and availability.

    ITL World reserve the right to amend the prices in case of currency fluctuations, changes in rates of exchange, and/or fuel costs, special or high season charges and hike in the airline/hotel/rail/land transportation charges before the date of departure.
    For convenience of passengers and / or feasibility of operations, ITL World or their service providers may sometimes amend the itinerary.
    International hotel check in time is between 2pm and 3pm and check out time is between 11am and 12pm. (Exceptions apply). Early check in and or late check-out is subject to availability of rooms and may be chargeable.
    It is the responsibility of the passengers to ensure they hold valid passport, visa, travel and medical insurance, vaccination etc., as applicable for each destination.
    City/tourist tax as applicable, must be paid directly at the hotel.
    To assist with visa application process, ITL World would provide copies of air tickets, travel insurance and other ground service vouchers for bookings made and fully paid for. Approval and issuance of visa is at the discretion of respective Embassies or Consulates and ITL World cannot in anyway influence this process. Certain nationals however receive visa on arrival in select countries, subject to prior online approvals.
