• DESCRIPTION

The elusive, exotic land of South Korea beckons every traveler to experience its many wonders.

South Korea is a magical country that has been able to keep its culture, traditions and values alive. The nation dazzles with remarkable scenery, islands, mountains and hills, it is also always in motion, from sunrise to sunset, with vibrant and busy city streets and hard working people.

Seoul, South Korea’s capital is Asia’s third-largest economy and is a city that is booming with life. The city is made up of modern architecture, eclectic shopping, delicious food and high-tech subways, but you’ll still find lovely palaces, stunning temples and even traditional hanok houses that date back to the Joseon Dynasty. It is a city that has been able to mix ancient traditions and new age technology. You’ll find numerous street vendors, dynamic nightlife and karaoke. Seoul is packed full of things to do whether you want to visit a historic temple, go shopping at night markets or party with locals until the sun comes up.

Jeju Island, Korea’s largest island, has long been the favorite holiday destination to many, thanks to its beautiful beaches, lush countryside and seaside hotels designed for rest and relaxation.
There’s plenty on Jeju-do to appeal to those who prefer to be active. Hike up South Korea’s highest mountain, Halla-san, or climb the incredible tuff cone Seongsan Ilchul-bong, rising straight from the sea, to watch the sun rise from the ridge of a crater. For a less-demanding nature experience, meander along one of the Jeju Olle Trails and explore tangerine-trimmed country roads, jagged coasts and narrow lanes dotted with cottage-style homes made from black lava rock. The ocean is never far away, so plunge into blue seas to view coral as colorful as the sunsets and dig into Jeju-do’s unique cuisine.

Visit Gyeongbok Palace & Folklore Museum
GYONGBOK PALACE: Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is also commonly referred to as the “Northern Palace” because it is located more toward the north, compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern Palace) and Gyeongheegung (Western Palace). Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful and remains the grandest of all the five palaces.
    Visit Bukchon Hanok Village
BUKCHON HANOK VILLAGE: Surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village is home to hundreds of traditional houses called ‘hanok’ that date back to the Joseon Dynasty. The name, ‘Bukchon,’ which literally translates to ‘northern village,’ came about as the neighborhoods that the village covers lie to the north of the two significant Seoul landmarks, Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno. Today, many of these hanoks operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses, providing an opportunity to experience, learn and immerse in Korean traditional culture.
Lunch & Free Time For Shopping At Insadong Antique Shopping Alley
INSADONG: Because it is the largest market of traditional Korean art and products, Insadong is the ideal place for visitors who want to experience the true character of Korea with its subtle, enduring beauty. Once you are in Insadong, you will immediately be drawn to the small alleys lined with numerous shops and galleries, both tiny and spacious: antique shops, Korean stationery stores, frame shops, handicraft shops, pottery and porcelain shops, bookstores and painting studios, and art supply stores. In addition, restaurants and cafes serve traditional food and teas. The Insadong Festival, held every October, showcases pungmulnori, or folk musical instrumental performances, and features a food court serving local cuisine from regions all across the country
    Visit Gwangjang Market
GWANGJANG MARKET: Gwangjang Market was the first permanent market in Korea and continues to thrive as a popular tourist destination today. The second floor of the market is filled with silk, satin, and linen bed-sheet stores, which are the largest and most famous in Seoul. Many of the stores in the area even have their own factories supplying fabrics to the Namdaemun Market, Pyoung Hwa Market, and even to some department stores. Even though the goods are not brand-name products, the wide selection of high quality goods at inexpensive prices makes it an enjoyable shopping experience. Return to hotel.
