  • Day 1

    ARRIVE COCHIN
    Arrive Cochin airport and you will be met and greeted by our representative at the airport and transferred to the hotel.
    Cochin – It is a major harbour and commercial Capital of Kerala. Cochin is also access point to visit Backwaters and Plantation highlands in the region.

    Day 2

    COCHIN – MUNNAR (130 km / 05 hrs)
    After Breakfast, check out of the hotel and set off for guided tour of city visit Chinese fishing nets, Mattancherry Palace and St. Francis Church the oldest European church in India. Later drive to Munnar.
    Arrive Munnar and check in at hotel. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and the round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors.

    Day 3

    MUNNAR
    After breakfast proceed for morning visit Mattupetty Dam & Echo Point. The dam is flanked by forests and large expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. In the afternoon visit the tea plantations and Museum. The visitor is greeted with miles and miles of unending tea plantations on entry into Munnar. TATA Tea, consisting of estates mainly in Munnar, is a dominant player of Tea.

    Day 4

    MUNNAR – THEKKADY (Approx 110 KMS / 03 and Half Hrs Drive)
    After Breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Thekkady which is a spice plantation area surrounded by Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and visited for its salubrious climate, plantation backdrop and activities around Periyar reserve forest. Spend your day at leisure.

    Day 5

    THEKKADY
    Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy spice plantation tour in Periyar and in the evening simmer down and enjoy a boat safari in the scenic Periyar Lake, occasionally winning the glance of some rare varieties of birds and animals at Periyar National Park.

    Day 6

    THEKKADY – KUMARAKOM (Approx 140 KMS / 04 Hrs Drive)
    After breakfast drive to Kumarakom, followed by houseboat day trip and later check-in at hotel.

    Day 7

    KUMARAKOM
    After breakfast, morning visit to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Located on the banks of the Vembanad Lake, the bird sanctuary is spread across 14 acres. The Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, an ornithologist’s paradise is a favorite haunt of migratory birds like the Siberian stork, egret, darter, heron and teal.

    Day 8

    KUMARAKOM – COCHIN – DEPARTURE (Approx 60 Kms/ 2 Hrs Drive)
    Breakfast at hotel. Check out form the hotel and transfer to airport to board your flight for your onward destination.

    Prices mentioned is starting from, per person based on 2 persons travelling together and sharing twin/double room, subject to seasonal surcharges and availability.

    Boat ride in Thekkady (Periyar river) is subject to its operations on the day of the tour.

    ITL World reserve the right to amend the prices in case of currency fluctuations, changes in rates of exchange, and/or fuel costs, special or high season charges and hike in the airline/hotel/rail/land transportation charges before the date of departure.

    For convenience of passengers and / or feasibility of operations, ITL World or their service providers may sometimes amend the itinerary.

    International hotel check in time is between 2pm and 3pm and check out time is between 11am and 12pm. (Exceptions apply). Early check in and or late check-out is subject to availability of rooms and may be chargeable.

    It is the responsibility of the passengers to ensure they hold valid passport, visa, travel and medical insurance, vaccination etc., as applicable for each destination.

    City/tourist tax as applicable, must be paid directly at the hotel.

    To assist with visa application process, ITL World would provide copies of air tickets, travel insurance and other ground service vouchers for bookings made and fully paid for. Approval and issuance of visa is at the discretion of respective Embassies or Consulates and ITL World cannot in anyway influence this process. Certain nationals however receive visa on arrival in select countries, subject to prior online approvals.
