    CULINARY BREAKS
    JOURNEYS OF TASTES

One experience that every foodie and avid traveler should try out is a gastronomy break. One of the most authentic cultural elements of a place is gastronomy. The unique tastes of a destination’s cuisine are linked to the qualities and characteristics of its society and reveal an important piece of information regarding its cultural and economic history. At the same time, food is also a form of communication, a way to ‘speak’ to someone’s heart.

Cooking is all about people. Food may be the only universal thing that really has the power to bring everyone together. No matter what culture, everyone around the World, people get together to eat’ – Guy Fieri. Culinary travel is about tasting a country’s best culinary delights. Cape Town and its surroundings offer new and unique concepts that set themselves apart, its history is rich and diverse, and their food and culture reflects centuries of intermingling ethnicities and flavors.
