Day 1

Arrival Switzerland
Lunchtime arrival in Lugano, checking-in to a centrally located 4-star hotel for 3 nights.
Your included Ticino Ticket allows free public transportation in the entire Canton of Ticino, allowing your ample free time in the afternoon to explore Lugano and the surroundings. Later in the afternoon (15:00) you will meet your local guide in front of the Cultural Centre and enjoy a short 30-minute introduction to the city before crossing Lake Lugano by boat. Upon arrival at the local restaurant, enjoy an aperitif before taking part in our fabulous Risotto Workshop Experience.
You will learn how to:
– choose the best quality of Italian rice for a creamy risotto;
– how to make a good stock or broth from scratch;
– how to choose the ingredients;
– how to cook a delicious risotto
– how to serve the risotto;
– ideas for risotto recipes

Day 2

Lugano – Ascona
Today we take your Ticinese gastronomic experience a step further, with our Lugano food tour. Enjoy a guided tour around the historical city of Lugano, making several stops en route to sample several regional specialities, washed down with a Ticinese Merlot.

Lugano and Surroundings
Day at leisure. Your morning is free to explore other parts of the region with your included Ticino Ticket.

International hotel check in time is between 2pm and 3pm and check out time is between 11am and 12pm. (Exceptions apply). Early check in and or late check-out is subject to availability of rooms and may be chargeable.

It is the responsibility of the passengers to ensure they hold valid passport, visa, travel and medical insurance, vaccination etc., as applicable for each destination.

City/tourist tax as applicable, must be paid directly at the hotel.

To assist with visa application process, ITL World would provide copies of air tickets, travel insurance and other ground service vouchers for bookings made and fully paid for. Approval and issuance of visa is at the discretion of respective Embassies or Consulates and ITL World cannot in anyway influence this process.
