    Upon clearing Customs and Immigration, you are met by our guide who will present you with a welcome packet including all necessary documentation, vouchers and all contact information of your guide.

    Excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels
    Never discovered by American forces, the Cu Chi Tunnels were an important Vietcong base during the American War. Stretching over 200 km, this incredible underground network, dug by hand out of hard laterite, connected command posts, hospitals, shelter and weapons factories. Today, walk through the area and learn about the day to day life of the Vietcong, bear witness to the cleverly disguised entrances and elaborate booby-traps, and even venture inside the tunnels, some of which have been modified to accommodate tourists.

    Sightseeing in Saigon
    Saigon was called as the Pearl in the East because of the art deco French style buildings in the early of 20th Century. After bearing witness to the ups and downs of Saigon, nowadays this atmospheric relic from the past stands surrounded by the ever increasing modern high rise buildings and shopping malls. You will have a half day to visit the city’s main sites.

    The War Remnants Museum exhibits collections of weapons, photographs and memorabilia from two Indochina wars along with the original French ‘Guillotine’ brought here in the early 20th century.

    Visit the Reunification Palace
    Reunification Palace, the Independence Palace of the South Vietnamese president, was stormed by tanks on the 30th April 1975, signifying the fall of South Vietnam. It has been preserved in its original state.

    Visit Notre Dame Cathedral
    The Notre Dame Cathedral was built between 1877 and 1883, and is set in the heart of Saigon’s government quarter. It has a neo-Romanesque form and two high square towers tipped with iron spires. In front of the cathedral is a statue of the Virgin Mary.

    Visit Central Post Office
    The Central Post Office is a French-style building with a glass canopy and iron frame right next to the Notre Dame Cathedral. The structure was built between 1886 and 1891 and is by far the largest post office in Vietnam.

    Day 3

    Ho Chi Minh City – Can Tho

    Breakfast at hotel. Transfer by vehicle from Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) to Can Tho with sightseeing in Ben Tre and a boat ride to Mekong River Islands
    Journey through the Mekong Delta to My Tho. Take a boat trip on the Mekong River to Tan Thach (Ben Tre) where local handicrafts and sweets from coconut are produced. Enjoy fresh seasonal fruits, a performance of traditional songs, and observe the local life. Take a short ride on motor cart to a typical local house to taste some homemade honey-tea. Proceed by with small sampan boat through the small canals and observe daily life along the riverbanks, stopping for a leisurely stroll. Continue by vehicle to Can Tho.

    Day 4

    Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh City

    Excursion by boat to Cai Rang Floating Market with visiting orchard
    In the early morning, set out by boat to explore Cai Rang Floating Market. This is the biggest and most bustling of the Mekong Delta markets and attracts fruit and vegetable vendors from all over the region. Buyers on smaller boats weave between the large barges selling wholesale produce. Each vendor advertises fresh samples of their wares on long poles that tower overhead above the colourful boats. Sail through the market watching people haggle and trade, and possibly sample some of the fruit yourself. Explore some of the backwaters, canals and orchard before returning to the pier.
    Transfer by vehicle from Can Tho to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)
    Dinner cruise aboard the Bonsai Cruise
    In the evening board the traditional wooden barge and start cruising along the Saigon River. Enjoy a delicious international buffet while watching the live entertainment and the passing scenery.

    Prices mentioned is starting from, per person based on 2 persons travelling together and sharing twin/double room, subject to seasonal surcharges and availability.

    ITL World reserve the right to amend the prices in case of currency fluctuations, changes in rates of exchange, and/or fuel costs, special or high season charges and hike in the airline/hotel/rail/land transportation charges before the date of departure.

    For convenience of passengers and / or feasibility of operations, ITL World or their service providers may sometimes amend the itinerary.

    International hotel check in time is between 2pm and 3pm and check out time is between 11am and 12pm. (Exceptions apply). Early check in and or late check-out is subject to availability of rooms and may be chargeable.

    It is the responsibility of the passengers to ensure they hold valid passport, visa, travel and medical insurance, vaccination etc., as applicable for each destination.

    City/tourist tax as applicable, must be paid directly at the hotel.

    To assist with visa application process, ITL World would provide copies of air tickets, travel insurance and other ground service vouchers for bookings made and fully paid for. Approval and issuance of visa is at the discretion of respective Embassies or Consulates and ITL World cannot in anyway influence this process. Certain nationals however receive visa on arrival in select countries, subject to prior online approvals.
