  • Day 1

    Imphal
    Arrive Imphal by air. On arrival meet our representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel. After refreshment, we shall go for our afternoon sightseeing. Shri Shri Govindajee Temple is the major attraction of the day. This magnificent Vaishnavite temple was erected during the first half of the 18th century. Dedicated to Lord Govinda and Radha, this temple stands adjacent to the former palace of the erstwhile ruler of Manipur.

    Day 2

    Imphal
    Today’s excursion is to Andro village – the ancient Meitti village. Here we will get to notice the inhabitants still stick to their age – old traditions, customs and lifestyle of the original tribes. Later we shall take city tour of the Imphal – Kangal Fort – located very close to the right bank of the River Imphal, this palace holds religious, historical as well as archeological significance. Next visit is to Ima Market – this market is run by women. If interested, you can shop handloom, handicrafts and much more. Last visit to the 2nd World War cemetery.

    Day 3

    Imphal – Kohima (160 kms / 5 – 6 hrs)
    This morning check out from hotel in Imphal and drive to Kohima. On arrival check into hotel. Time permitting; we shall explore the local market of the Kohima.

    Day 4

    Kohima – Day trip to Khonoma (20 kms / 1 hr)
    Today we shall visit 2nd World War Cemetery, State Museum. Later take an excursion to Khonoma – the green village. Khonoma is an Angami-tribe warrior village that is known for its battles with the English and for its leading role in the Naga freedom struggle. In recent years Khonoma has become famous for its community-based conservation projects and eco-friendly tourism initiatives.

    Overnight stay in Kohima.

    Day 5

    Kohima – Kaziranga (290 kms / 6 hrs)
    After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed towards Kaziranga National Park – the famed home of the one horned Rhino’s. Stay overnight in resort.

    NOTE: All national parks in Assam remains close for visitors from May till Oct every year, as per forest department order.

    Day 6

    Kaziranga
    Early morning we shall go for an elephant ride – Elephant ride is the best way to behold the vigour and charm of the enchanting wildlife of the park. Return to resort for your breakfast. Mid morning explore a village inhabited by Mishing tribe and Kaziranga Orchid center. Afternoon go for a jeep safari in the Central range of the park.

    Day 7

    Kaziranga – Shillong (290 kms / 7 hrs)
    This morning, we shall set off towards Shillong. En route a quick stop in the Umiam Lake. Resume our drive to Shillong. On arrival check in to hotel. Overnight at Shillong.

    Irreverent Shillong was the capital of British-created Assam until 1972. Since becoming the state capital of Meghalaya, it has rapidly developed into a typical modern Indian town, but it retains some of its colonial-era charm in certain pockets.

    Day 8

    Shillong
    Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for full day sightseeing of Shillong. Shillong – The ‘Gleneagle of the East’ lies in the centre of a plateau surrounded by Khasi hills. The gorgeous city offers amazing tourist spots. The city’s own Ward’s Lake is popular for short garden walks & boating. The Botanical Garden offers plethora of indigenous and exotic plants & rare collection of orchids. Lady Hydari Park is a Japanese style landscaped park endowed with streaches of roses & exquisite flowers. The Mini zoo adjacent to the park has about 73 birds, 140 reptiles & mammals. One of the largest Golf courses in Asia is an 18 hole Golf Course is charted amidst a surging valley full of thick pine groves & rhododendron trees. Spend the evening in the splendid arena! The State Museum is a display of the lifestyle and heritage of the people of Meghalaya

    Day 9

    Shillong – Day trip to Cherrapunjee (56 kms / 2 ½ hrs)
    After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Cherrapunjee. En – route we shall visit Elephant falls & Shillong peak. Resume drive to Cherrapunjee. On arrival sightseeing of Cherrapunjee –Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Dain-Thlen Falls, Ka Khoh Ramhah, Mawkdok Dympep Valley, Ka Kper Syiem Sohra.

    Return to Shillong for overnight stay.

    Day 10

    Shillong – Guwahati (110 kms / 2 ½ hrs)
    After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Guwahati. On arrival check into hotel. Evening we shall go for an hour river cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra River.

    Return to hotel for overnight stay.

    Day 11

    Guwahati fly out
    After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Guwahati airport for your onward journey.

    Price is starting from, based on four adults travelling together on sharing basis, subject to seasonal surcharges and availability.

    ITL World reserve the right to amend the prices in case of currency fluctuations, changes in rates of exchange, and/or fuel costs, special or high season charges and hike in the airline/hotel/rail/land transportation charges before the date of departure.
    For convenience of passengers and / or feasibility of operations, ITL World or their service providers may sometimes amend the itinerary.
    International hotel check in time is between 2pm and 3pm and check out time is between 11am and 12pm. (Exceptions apply). Early check in and or late check-out is subject to availability of rooms and may be chargeable.
    It is the responsibility of the passengers to ensure they hold valid passport, visa, travel and medical insurance, vaccination etc., as applicable for each destination.
    City/tourist tax as applicable, must be paid directly at the hotel.
    To assist with visa application process, ITL World would provide copies of air tickets, travel insurance and other ground service vouchers for bookings made and fully paid for. Approval and issuance of visa is at the discretion of respective Embassies or Consulates and ITL World cannot in anyway influence this process. Certain nationals however receive visa on arrival in select countries, subject to prior online approvals.
