Day 1

Upon arrival at Zurich International airport you will be transferred to Central Plaza or similar hotel for check in.
Spent your day at leisure or explore the city on your own.

Overnight in Zurich hotel.

Day 2

Breakfast at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or choose optional half day Zurich city tour – visit the Old Town with its churches, walk along the beautiful River Limmat, then ride on the aerial cable car for a breathtaking view over Lake Zürich and the snow-covered Alps!

Overnight in Zurich hotel.

Day 3 – 5

Departure transfers to Zurich Train Station. Transfer to Farm Property location – Weesen or Flaach region. Upon arrival transfer to the farm.

WEESEN:
The farm Bühler is located on the sun terrace above Weesen at 800 meters above sea level, with a wonderful view of the Walensee and the Glarnerberge. After a short walk you even have a view over Lake Zurich and after a hike on the Speer even to Lake Constance.

Sleep in the straw
Near the house is a small house, in this are each 4 straw and mattress sleeps. Here we offer accommodation with breakfast, be it for pedestrians, cyclists or motorists, families or individuals. Toilet and shower facilities is available. Breakfast is offered in the outdoor area with roofing, where also various employment opportunities, be it in reading corners, table football or ping-pong and much more. And of course last but not least the small animals who love petting.

For families
Offers accommodation in a 4-bed room. This for families and individuals, breakfast takes place in the dining room or in good weather outside. Shower and toilet are available on the same floor.

Active Farm Experience
On request, you may also like to be there at the hay harvest or the stable work, or even take a pitchfork in your own hands and experience everyday life.

For children
Offers children’s holidays, that is, the children are accompanied by parents with us. The children enjoy full board and are looked after by us during this time. Normally Sunday to Saturday, or on request. The day begins structured with the morning meal, but is then relatively individually designed, as the children are different. Be it dealing with the small animals or in the play area. Through playful assistance and new discoveries in everyday farm life, new experiences are created time and again, which children will long remember. Be it a birth of a calf, a walk on the alp to watch the animals, the caressing of kittens or even bringing the donkeys home if the gate was not closed.

Our animals
On our farm live different animals from small to large. For production for high quality food or as a hobby and petting zoo. The young are nursed by the mothers until they no longer need milk, this is the most natural form of breeding.
Dexter
A small robust suckler cow with high milk yield. They reach a withers height of 100-110cm and a weight of 300-400kg. The color shades black, red and dun pure color occur and appear differently depending on the basis of inheritance. Dexter are long-lived, precocious with Erstkalbealter 24Mte. and then a calf / year. The useful life is about 15 years. Their light weight makes them ideal for grazing steep slopes and difficult terrain. It is an extensive breed that can cope with its own feed and does not need concentrated feed.
Angus
A middle sized mother cow, height at the withers 125-135cm and a weight of 600-700kg. They occur in the colors black and red and are naturally polled. It is also a precocious breed with high life expectancy. It is an extensive breed that can cope with its own feed and does not need concentrated feed.
Boer goats
Burmese are originally from South Africa and came to Switzerland around the year 2000. It is a meat goat with good mother instinct and calm character, she often gets twins. Something special are the big drooping ears and the specially curved horns. Boer goats are durable and adaptable and are used primarily for grazing rough terrain and as an attraction for our holiday guests. Since there are quiet goats, also normal high fences are enough.
Donkeys
The gray steppe animals on our farm. The biggest attraction, besides the young kittens for our holiday guests. Donkeys are very frugal animals, but also know how to make themselves felt. Our troupe consists of a mare and a stallion, depending on the mood of nature, every few years with a foal.
Small Animals
Chickens, rabbits and cats enrich our petting zoo and are welcome employment opportunities for the children.

FLAACH
The Wydhof
Farm is located in the picturesque Zürcher Weinland, only a few meters away from the national Rhein-Veloroute Nr. 2 and in the immediate vicinity of the nature center Thurauen. The fascinating world of a living floodplain landscape is right on our doorstep. We operate dairy farming and arable farming in a joint operation and are pleased to welcome you as our guest

Sleep in the straw
After a restful sleep awake on fragrant straw, breathe the fresh country air and enjoy a rich breakfast with products from the Wydhof – this is pure experience. The straw storage can accommodate 8 people and if it has to be at a school class, even for more. All beds in the straw are equipped with pillows, blankets and towels.
Double room option: Furnished cozy double room. A booking is also possible in combination with the other accommodations.

Day 6

Transfer to train station where you travel to Zurich followed by transfer from Zurich train station to Zurich International airport. Board your return flight and cherish the fond memories.

*Prices mentioned are starting from, per person based on 2 guests travelling together and sharing guest house or straw store, subject to seasonal surcharges and availability.

ITL World reserve the right to amend the prices in case of currency fluctuations, changes in rates of exchange, and/or fuel costs, special or high season charges and hike in the airline/hotel/rail/land transportation charges before the date of departure.

For convenience of passengers and / or feasibility of operations, ITL World or their service providers may sometimes amend the itinerary.

International hotel check in time is between 2pm and 3pm and check out time is between 11am and 12pm. (Exceptions apply). Early check in and or late check-out is subject to availability of rooms and may be chargeable.

It is the responsibility of the passengers to ensure they hold valid passport, visa, travel and medical insurance, vaccination etc., as applicable for each destination.

City/tourist tax as applicable, must be paid directly at the hotel.

To assist with visa application process, ITL World would provide copies of air tickets, travel insurance and other ground service vouchers for bookings made and fully paid for. Approval and issuance of visa is at the discretion of respective Embassies or Consulates and ITL World cannot in anyway influence this process. Certain nationals however receive visa on arrival in select countries, subject to prior online approvals
